Training

Taupo can provide two types of training to the Education in the UK base

• Official VMware Certified courses including V Sphere
• Skill set transfer focused on your current/proposed VMware solution

Certified VMware training has set agenda with a formal exam and can be provided either onsite or at a dedicated training venue. The obvious benefits of this course are that all staff will be taught the same skills and will achieve official certificates of their competency if they pass.

Skill set transfer training

As VMware estates grow to include multiple technologies, the cost of providing staff with official courses, where each technology is taught individually, can escalate at a rapid rate. To ensure that system administrators receive the training they require to operate a VMware system effectively, Taupo provide Skill Set Transfer training, combining multiple products and technologies. We believe this gives end users a cost effective mechanism to ensure staff are confident with each technology that is present in their organisation.

• It can include VMware related products and solution i.e. VEEAM
• The trainer works at the pace required
• Has no fixed number of days
• Can focus on specific area and exclude features that are not required / used
• Is normally highly interactive

The obvious downside of this type of training is that often not all topics are covered and there is no official recognition that the person has gained the required skills.
